The Other Side

“Mages!” the dwarf harumphed “Time to move folks. We don’t want to be split up and dealing with an entire troop” Feldard moved into the curtain of magic. Saeth her weapon at the ready, followed the dwarf.

Maruc allowed Saeth to follow the others through before backing through himself, shield raised against those who might pursue. His side was still sore and at some point soon they would need to stop so he could bandage himself. He did not mention it straight away as the chances were that they would soon be followed. It wouldn’t take long for them to work out where they’d gone.

The four found themselves transported to a new, but identical, arched hallway junction. From the direction they had come, there was only a cold stone wall.

  1. Feldard (Dwf 3)

Feldard moved to the lead and glanced about for any sign of the two Siswa that had fled earlier. With nothing to note which way they had went, the dwarf took the first left. “Miklos, mark this spot. We continue going left from this point – unless of course we run into more Siswa or the Rahib”.

  2. Miklos (Mu 3)

The mage spun on his heal as the magic gripped him. A moments disorientation and stood motionless to listen intently. Satisfied there was no immediate danger he stepped out of the direct path of those who might follow.

He scratched a rune on the wall to the left of the teleportation window and watched the others follow him through.

DM: is there any sign left on the follow that we might follow?

  3. Maruc (Clr 4)

Maruc allowed Saeth to follow the others through before backing through himself, shield raise against those who might pursue.

  4. Miklos (Mu 3)

The mage swiftly drew into line behind the dwarf as he rounded the next left.

  5. Maruc (Clr 4)

DM: are there any tables, chairs, wall hangings framed pictures etc. this side on the teleporter? I occured to me that it possible Maruc would place an obstacle in the path of the teleporter. The idea being that hopefully the fail-safe aspects of the spell would deny the magical function to work. It if it doesn’t have a failsafe, ….oh well.

  6. Maruc (Clr 4)

Either way Maruc will follow the party hindmost ensuring that they are not surprised by a rear attack.

  7. Saeth:
    Maruc: 10xp +5xp
    Miklos: 10xp +5xp
    Nicolai: 10xp +10xp +10xp
    Feldard: 10xp +10xp

    TOTAL:
    Saeth: 7145/8000
    Maruc: 7280/12000
    Miklos: 7300/10000
    Nicolai: 6885/9600
    Feldard: 7290/8800
