Hasan opened the door opposite the one holding the now-bound Siswa. “This is where the Rahib kept his prisoners, and where I was jailed until I escaped just before meeting you all in battle. Quickly, take a look if you wish, and then let’s move on a bit into the bloody room those skeletons came from.”
In the outer chamber, Maruc again humbled himself before the might of Halav and spent his energies concentrating on restoring the dwarf to full health. This he knew would take some time but he didn’t allow himself to be distracted, even by his impatient patient.
Miklos looked at the bound elf. They had some time on their hands and this elf obviously knew something about who they were facing, not only that, he might also be able to lead them to the Sisters Three. As he was found down here he might have a better knowledge of the surrounding rooms and their occupants. At the least he could provide intelligence on how Elrond had fallen.
He turned to the priest who was preparing his ministrations. “How long do you need?”
“About two hours if left undisturbed. Feldard needs urgent attention.” Maruc replied.
“Although as has been proven before I cannot break the charm I can place my own Geas on him.” Miklos guestured back to the bound elf. “He might know something of value to us. Give me half an hour to prepare myself and I will see what we can glean from him.”
In a strange twist of fate, it seemed that the elves were impatiently eager to move quickly to explore the rest of the temple, while the humans were being cautious and taking their time.

Saeth paced irritatedly, knowing that beyond the chamber, their enemies regrouped. “Do hurry, Miklos. Certainly he knows something, but best to keep moving before the time passes us by.” She moved to the doorway, peeking through, then settled in to keep watch while the young mage worked his talents.

Miklos briefly glanced up for his studies to the elf maid he to keep the annoyance out of his voice, “Mistress Saeth, I’m sure I have mentioned this before, but for an entity that is practically immortal you have very little patience. I’m also sure that you would look before you jump. This is what I am doing, release the Rahibs prisoners if you must it might entertain you for a while.” He returned his attention to his spell book.

“It is not a matter of patience, wizard, but expediency. The time to act is when one is the hunter, not once one has become the prey.” The fact that it was a certain impatience, or perhaps fear, Saeth did not permit to show. “One is not ‘practically immortal’ for long if he waits while traps and ambushes are prepared for him.”

(I’m glad to be back too – nicely done on getting him to wear the robes *two thumbs up*)
During the priests lengthy prayers, more than once the dwarf fought to return to consciousness. Feldard would struggle to open a heavy eyelid to view the chanting priest. All that would was seen was a shadow of a holy symbol. Feldard no longer really felt his wounds.. just an unending chill..

Miklos smiled, “True, but we are the invaders here, the traps have already been layed. They may be devising further traps, but I would be quite confident that few would get passed the Guardian and the Rahib. Unless we are dealing with foes who can see through walls or speak with the dead we have time. I do not wish us to suffer necessarily, or avoidably.” Miklos again returned to his studies.

(Sorry, I’m not sure if I’m following the map. Is the bound Siswa in a chamber that is thru the dbl doors that are on the east side of the chamber where the Rahib/skeleton encounters took place?)
If so, Hasan will join Saeth is fretting about lost time, saying, “I agree with you, Saeth. While Feldard must be healed before we venture far from her, I do wonder if you and I should begin the investigations of the bloody room to the west.
If the dbl doors to the east have not been explored, Hasan will ask, “has anybody looked in here?” and immediately open them.
